We all know Easter time is chocolate time, but it's important not to go overboard. Follow my top tips of how to keep things sensible this Easter.
- You don't have to eat everything!
Pick a couple of your favourites and leave the rest in the shops, you don't have to go without but you don't have to buy the lot.
- Get creative in the kitchen
Try cooking every day foods with this Easter theme – runny boiled eggs with bunny toast (use a cookie cutter), or serve a fruit platter in the shape of an egg (use different fruits to create bright patterns) - the kids will love this too!
- Keep moving
It's easy to shut off on "holiday mode" but this is an ideal opportunity for exercise. It's a long weekend with the weather starting to cool it's the best time to head outside for a family walk or a bike ride around the block.
